Opis: Znana jako „drugi Stalingrad”, bitwa pod Korsuniem była rezultatem rozkazów Hitlera, który zabraniał oddawania nawet piędzi zdobytej ziemi. W rezultacie w kotle pod Korsuniem Sowieci zamknęli dużą liczbę niemieckich jednostek. Tym razem jednak Niemcy pospiesznie zgromadzili wystarczającą ilość jednostek, sięgając po swoje głębokie rezerwy i przeprowadzili uderzenie celem przerwania blokady. Istotną rolę odegrało Luftwaffe, zaopatrując z powietrza otoczone oddziały. Mimo tego niemieckie straty były duże, znacząc dając o sobie znać w kolejnych bitwach w 1944. W tej grze obaj gracze muszą rozsądnie gospodarować posiadanymi siłami, myśląc zarówno o ataku oraz o obronie. Czy Niemcy są w stanie ewakuować z kotła większość swoich sił bez poważniejszych strat? A może Sowieci zdołają wcześniej zniszczyć większość z nich?

Description: Known as the „Second Stalingrad”, the battle of Korsun was the result of Hitler’s order to defend every inch of the captured land. In the pocket around Korsun Soviets managed to surround the big number of the German units. However, this time Germans quickly gathered all their reserves and performed an attack to let the surrounded units retreat. Luftwaffe played an important role, supporting surrounded units. German losses were still very high and they turned out to be crucial in the next battles of 1944. In this game both players have to use their forces very reasonably and think about both attack and defense. Is it possible for the Germans evacuate their units from the Korsun pocket without any major losses? Or maybe Soviets can destroy most of them before?
